‘Anytime, Anywhere Learning’

At this years BETT show, MET demonstrated how to create a flexible school learning environment that caters for the traditional ICT suite, roaming devices and now learning beyond the walls of the classroom - around the school campus and even from home. Schools should now cater for all types of learning - MET demonstrated how the latest technology allows anytime, anywhere learning to become a reality for schools.

Citrix - Easy and secure application access from anywhere for the school's users was demonstrated. MET showed at the show how a more virtual IT environment can be built around Citrix and how, through Citrix Access Gateway, giving access to the schools resources and encouraging leaning from home is possible.

HP - Delivering servers, storage and infrastructure to support anytime, anywhere learning. At the show MET demonstrated the benefits thin client technology can create - a virtual and flexible classroom that is more energy efficient, saves money and is far more manageable, quiet in the classroom and secure than a PC environment for schools.

Our stand was extremely popular as we showed how the clear benefits of the latest technology can be aligned with the demands and needs of schools.
